I wanted to design a logo that described mainly 3 ideas that I live by while creating art:

Green is my favourite color, so I had to design a color palette that focused on green.

The logo includes 3 key ideas:
✦ The initials of my name kashyap rayas
✦ The K and R being symmetric by flipping K vertically to produce R
✦ A color palette with green as the hero

In redefining my portfolio website, I aimed for an unconventional approach, offering visitors a narrative journey rather than a conventional layout. Taking on the persona of the "falling man," I lead viewers through various sections as they scroll, creating an engaging storytelling experience. Leveraging Adobe Photoshop, I meticulously crafted the assets, seamlessly integrating them into the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After investing over 3000 lines of code, I proudly present my debut portfolio website—a fusion of creativity, technical prowess, and storytelling, promising an immersive and unforgettable exploration into my work and vision.

THE BRIEF

Siggraph BNMIT represents the forefront of computer graphics at BNMIT. Our club serves as a dynamic forum designed to facilitate education, exploration, and collaboration within the expansive realm of computer graphics.

I was tasked with designing and developing the brand for the club.

THE DESIGN

The logo includes 3 key ideas:
✦ The letter s composed of I and g
✦ 4 symmetric quadrant design that resembles a graph
✦ Vibrant and multi colored color scheme that represents creativity

✦ 1 primary contrast color
✦ 3 secondary colors between each pair of primary colors.

As the eagerly anticipated club launch event approached, I embarked on crafting a presentation designed to captivate and entertain. Drawing inspiration from the timeless allure of vintage comics, particularly the iconic Batman series, I set out to infuse my presentation with a nostalgic and playful vibe. By ingeniously melding the essence of an old-school web Batman comic book with the dynamic content for the Siggraph presentation, I curated a unique and engaging storyboard that seamlessly merged the worlds of classic storytelling and cutting-edge information.

Collaborating with a team of two fellow web designers, I took on the exciting challenge of crafting the Siggraph BNMIT website within a tight two-week timeframe. Our vision for the website sprang to life through Figma, where we meticulously conceptualized its design elements. Subsequently, we skillfully translated this vision into a functional reality, employing a fusion of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to breathe life into the website, ensuring a seamless and dynamic user experience.

THE BRIEF

Inktober, a celebrated artistic challenge held annually throughout October, invites creators to embark on a daily artistic journey. Each day of the month prompts artists to craft and share one ink drawing on their social platforms. The challenge unfolds through a curated list of 31 prompts, one for each day, sparking the creative inspiration for artists to create pieces linked to the given prompt. It's a vibrant celebration of artistry, uniting creators worldwide in a shared dedication to daily expression and creativity.

THE DESIGN

I took a distinctive approach by interconnecting each artwork, weaving an ongoing abstract narrative through the series. With Instagram as my canvas, I structured the pieces in sets of three, released daily. Each set seamlessly flowed into the next, forming a cohesive progression that linked back to its preceding collection. This deliberate curation aimed to offer viewers a captivating journey, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the evolving story embedded within the art series.
